About Pointe Orlando
Pointe Orlando is the open-air dining and entertainment complex on the southern half of International Drive, directly across from the Orange County Convention Center. Because of the convention-center location, it's designed less as a tourist shopping mall and more as a hospitality district for conference attendees, I-Drive resort guests, and locals — leaning heavily toward restaurants, bars, and nightlife rather than retail. The dining lineup is one of the strongest on I-Drive and covers a range of price points and styles: upscale steakhouses and seafood rooms like The Capital Grille and Ocean Prime sit alongside casual staples such as Copper Canyon Grill, Maggiano's Little Italy, Cuba Libre, and B.B. King's Blues Club, along with quick-serve spots and dessert stops. An IMAX-equipped multiplex cinema anchors one end of the complex and draws a post-dinner crowd most nights. Shopping at Pointe is focused but curated — a mix of specialty stores, resort and beach apparel, souvenir shops, and a handful of local boutiques. A fountain and performance stage in the central courtyard host seasonal events and live music, and the layout's covered walkways, outdoor seating, and firepits keep it pleasant for wandering in the evening. A parking garage on site is free for most of the day, which makes it an easy stop for a longer meal without worrying about time.
