About Icon Park
Icon Park is the open-air entertainment district at the center of International Drive, built around an observation wheel that rises some 400 feet above the corridor and serves as a visual landmark for the entire I-Drive tourist area. Admission to the district itself is free — visitors pay only for the rides and attractions they choose. The flagship attraction is The Wheel, a giant slow-turning observation wheel with fully enclosed, climate-controlled cabins that offer panoramic views across Orlando on a clear day. Surrounding it are three major pay-per-entry attractions: Madame Tussauds Orlando, SEA LIFE Aquarium, and the Museum of Illusions, which together make Icon Park a reliable rainy-day or off-park itinerary stop for families. Multi-attraction combo tickets typically offer meaningful savings over buying entries individually. Around the perimeter, a walkable promenade hosts a rotating mix of restaurants, bars, ice cream and dessert shops, and specialty retail. Outdoor seating, live music on the main lawn, and a fountain and performance space give the district a more relaxed pace than the theme parks, and the location — directly on International Drive and close to most I-Drive hotels — makes it an easy walk-in or Lynx-bus destination without needing a car for the evening.
