About Tibet-Butler Preserve
Tibet-Butler Preserve is a 440-acre free nature preserve about 20 minutes southwest of Orlando in the Dr. Phillips area, tucked between Disney and the Butler Chain of Lakes. Three miles of hiking trails and boardwalks pass through pine flatwoods, cypress wetlands, and along the shore of Lake Tibet, with a small interpretive Vera Carter Environmental Center near the parking lot. Admission is free, crowds are minimal, and it's one of the closest genuinely quiet nature stops to the theme park corridor.
