About Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground
Fort Wilderness is Disney's 750-acre outdoor resort and the only place on Walt Disney World property to stay in a tent or RV. Day guests can drive in for a distinctly different Disney experience: guided horseback trail rides, an archery range, pontoon-boat fishing charters on Bay Lake, miles of bike and walking paths through pine forest, and the nightly Chip 'n' Dale campfire singalong that's been running since 1971. It's the most Disney-adjacent outdoor-activity option for visitors staying off-property.
